Hit 500 posts in the Chatter Lounge and my brain short-circuited

I was just scrolling through my profile yesterday and saw the counter said 500. I genuinely thought it was a glitch because I never keep track! It matters because I started posting here just to kill time between shifts, and now it's my go-to spot to unwind. Has anyone else been totally blindsided by a forum milestone they didn't even know they were chasing?

Actually, Vera's friend's story is the perfect example. A "Top 100 Poster" badge is based on post count, not comments. The milestone is the same thing. It's all just posts in the system. The counter on your profile isn't splitting hairs between starting a thread and replying to one. It's just the total number of times you've hit "submit". So hitting 500 is a real thing, not a glitch. It's cool that it sneaks up on you like that.

Totally get that feeling of surprise! My friend Dave had a similar thing happen on his gaming forum. He was just arguing about loot drops for months, then one day the site gave him a "Top 100 Poster" badge. He had no clue he was even close. Makes you realize how these places just become part of your routine without you noticing. Kind of like how @ivan_mason is always pointing out the fine print, sometimes you miss the big number right in front of you. It's a nice little shock to make you look back at all the time spent.

It's 500 posts, not 500 comments...
