Just realized a random chat at a gas station changed my whole view on luck

I was filling up my car in Boise last summer when an older guy at the next pump saw my flat tire and offered to help. While we were fixing it, he said, 'Chance meetings are just life's way of giving you a nudge, not a push.' That one line stuck with me because I used to think random meetings were just pure, meaningless luck. Now I see them as small opportunities you have to actually act on. Has a stranger ever said something simple that just clicked for you like that?

Totally. A barista once told me my coffee was getting cold.

Wait, @williams.jenny, the barista actually said that?

Actually, that's just them being polite. They want you to drink up so they can clear the table.
