My freelance client list hit 50 this month and it felt weird

I was updating my spreadsheet and the total just sat there. I started with three local cafe jobs four years ago. The number matters because it's not about the money, it's about the trust. Each one is a person who chose my work over someone else's. Has anyone else had a number hit them like that?

Wow, that's a big one. I read this thing once about how we don't really feel big numbers... like, our brains just sort of stop at five. So hitting 50 is this weird mix of a huge fact and a blank feeling. It's not just 50 invoices, it's 50 times you solved a problem for someone and they were happy. That's a lot of handshakes, virtual or real. Makes total sense it would feel heavy in a good way.

Wait, really? I actually think our brains can totally feel big numbers, they just feel different.
