Overheard a lawyer say 'functional capacity' at my kid's soccer game last Saturday

A dad on the sideline was explaining to someone how the SSA measures what you can actually do in a work day, and it hit me why my first denial letter made no sense. Has anyone else had their daily activities get twisted around to make you look capable?

Yeah the whole thing where they say you can watch tv so you can clearly work a desk job makes me want to scream.

Broke three remotes last month just trying to find the volume button.

Labeling everything with a piece of TAPE helped me stop breaking things. I wrote "VOL" on a small sticker and stuck it right on that button. Now my remotes last way longer and I don't have to hunt around.
