My disability lawyer asked me to document my symptoms with photos
I spent a whole day taking pictures of my back brace, my cane, and my face making pain faces. Figured I'd send them over and be done. Lawyer called me back and said I looked like I was modeling for a medical catalog. He just wanted a simple pic of my cane and my meds together. Now I just send one photo instead of a whole photoshoot.

@seth_harris36 makes a fair point, but honestly I see it the other way. Sometimes overcomplicating things is the only way to figure out what actually matters. You had to take those silly photos to realize your lawyer just wanted the simple version. That trial and error isn't wasted time, its how you learn. Without that first batch of pictures, you might have kept second guessing whether you were sending enough proof.

Trial and error isn't wasted time" - tell that to my ex who tried 5 different salad recipes before giving up and ordering pizza. @seth_harris36 probably has a whole closet of fancy kitchen gadgets he used once before reverting to a basic can opener. I guess we all need to take the scenic route before realizing the straight road works just fine.

Isn't it funny how we overcomplicate things before realizing simplicity works better?
