Wasted $60 on a bone saw that couldn't cut warm butter

Tbh I bought a cheap electric bone saw off an auction site last month thinking I was being clever. First use on a pork shoulder it just bounced off the bone and left nasty scorch marks on the meat. The blade was basically a serrated knife with a motor, and it stalled twice before I gave up. I know now to stick with my hand saw for anything under 50 pounds of carcass, but has anyone else had luck with a budget saw after swapping the blade out?

Swap the blade out for a decent bimetal one and it makes a world of difference honestly. I did that with a cheap $30 reciprocating saw attachment and it chewed through a deer pelvis like it was nothing. Just make sure the blade fits tight cause the cheap motors wobble and that's what kills the cutting power. Also run it slower than you think you need to, let the teeth do the work instead of forcing it.
