John at the shop showed me how a handful of sawdust soaks up a fresh blood puddle in seconds - way better than those expensive mats I was buying. Has anyone else got a weird tip like that that saves you time on cleanup?

You ever notice how the best solutions are usually the cheapest ones? Sawdust works cause it's basically nature's shop towel. Same thing with cat litter for oil stains on the driveway. I've found that a lot of the stuff we pay good money for is just fancy versions of something we already got lying around. Like using a old tshirt instead of paper towels. It's funny how we overthink things when the simple fix is right there.

Is it weird I get a little proud when I figure out a cheap fix like that? Sawdust is way underrated honestly.
