That week in January when my bullet journal actually kept me on track

I had a week where every single task got done on time, including renewing my car registration which I usually forget for months, because I finally used a weekly spread instead of my usual monthly layout, has anyone else found that switching formats can make or break your whole system?

Seems like a bit of a stretch to say bullet journal formats "make or break" your whole life. I mean, I get that having a visual spread helps some folks remember things, but at the end of the day it's still just a to-do list with extra lines drawn on it. You still have to actually do the work regardless of whether it's in a monthly grid or a weekly box. I've had weeks where every layout under the sun failed me because I just wasn't motivated that week. And honestly, if a piece of paper is the difference between paying your registration or not, maybe the problem isn't the layout.

Weekly spreads totally saved my car registration too, for real.
