Spent $300 on a meal kit service for a month and it actually saved me money

You're right about not having to think about dinner being the real win. My brain just gives up after 5pm. I would probably just eat cereal for every meal if someone didn't plan it for me. The meal kit box showing up is like a friendly intervention. It stops me from staring into the fridge and then ordering a pizza out of pure frustration.

How many times have I stood there with the fridge door open just hoping dinner would magically appear? The meal kit thing works because it makes the first step, the deciding part, go away. I started keeping a couple super easy pantry meals on hand for the nights I just can't even look at a recipe card. Stuff like canned soup and grilled cheese, zero brain power needed. It stops that panic order before it happens.

Yeah, that math checks out if you were ordering takeout constantly before. The real win is not having to think about what's for dinner.
