Realized I was paying for subscription services I never used

I finally checked my bank statements last month and found $45 a month going to three streaming services I hadn't opened in over a year. My friend pointed out I was basically burning money for nothing. Anyone else have a wake-up call like that from their bank account?

Oh man, it's crazy how these tiny charges just sneak up on you isn't it? It makes me wonder what else we're all just paying for without thinking twice, like the bigger things in life that quietly eat up our money without us noticing until it's way too late.

Wait, are you actually mad about finding $45 you can put toward something you actually want? lol I feel like those subscriptions are basically insurance for when you randomly get the itch to watch that one movie nobody talks about anymore.

Yeah, but $45 is $45... I always set a rule for myself to check bank statements every few months and cancel anything I haven't touched in like 30 days. Saves me from these little surprises, and honestly feels good to pocket that cash instead.
