Had to pick between store brand salsa and a fancy jar for taco night

I went with the $1.99 store brand over the $4.50 one from the organic section. Honestly, it was just as good and nobody at the table noticed the difference. Has anyone else found a store brand staple that beats the name brand?

Grabbed the Great Value version of pepperoni last week over the name brand and it tasted the same. Saved like two bucks and my kids didn't say a thing.

Honestly, I saw something online about how most store brand snacks are made in the same factories as the name brand ones. Tbh, pepperoni's probably one of those things where you are just paying for the label.

My friend Sarah tried that with the store brand chips ahoy knockoff and her husband was like, "hey these taste different" and she said "nope, same thing" and he just ate them anyway lol. @ryan369 you're probably right about the factory thing, I heard the same about cereal brands.
