Spent $150 on a laser level and it paid for itself on the first job

I put that Bosch GLL 3-80 through a full day of laying block on a retaining wall last Tuesday and did not have to re-lay a single course, has anyone else found that spending decent money on layout tools saves more time than it costs?

And that's exactly why I won't touch a cheap level again.

My buddy spent like 80 bucks on a cheap laser and it was off by a quarter inch over 20 feet. Took him forever to figure out why his wall was getting wavy. I've always figured you buy the good stuff once or you buy the cheap stuff over and over. That Bosch model you got is solid, I've used a friend's before and it held up after getting knocked off a ladder.
