Just spent my whole lunch break trying to get the office Keurig to stop making that weird gurgling noise.

Turns out the water reservoir had a tiny crack near the bottom I couldn't see. Anyone else have a weird break room appliance story?

Remember our old microwave that would only work if you held the door shut with your hip. It was like a weird dance every time you wanted to heat up soup. The office manager finally just put a bungee cord around it as a "fix". Honestly, some of this stuff feels like it's held together by hope and a prayer.

Used to believe proper tools were a waste of money. Seeing a grown adult hug a microwave for lunch changed my view. Now I see those janky fixes as a sign to just replace the thing.
