Burnt my lunch in the shared microwave, now Susan in accounting won't even look my way
So yesterday at 12:30 in the 4th floor break room, I left my leftover chili in for 5 minutes instead of 3 and it exploded all over the inside of the microwave. I spent 20 minutes scrubbing it with wet paper towels and baking soda from the supply closet, but the smell still lingers. Now Susan gives me this death stare every time I walk past her desk, and I genuinely feel like I need to bring in a peace offering like donuts or something. Has anyone else permanently ruined their workplace reputation over a lunch incident, and how did you fix it?

Pfft, donuts won't fix burnt chili vibes. Give it a week, she'll forget.
