Choosing between a Monstera deliciosa and a Philodendron gloriosum for my shady corner
Honestly, I had a tough spot in my Portland apartment that only gets about 2 hours of morning light. I picked the Philodendron gloriosum because I read it thrives in lower light and loves to crawl. It's been 3 months and the first new leaf is finally unfurling, which is super exciting. Has anyone else had luck with creeping philos in dim rooms?

That "quiet win" feeling is so real. When your gloriosum finally pushed out that new leaf, did you do anything special with its soil or humidity to help it along, or was it just pure patience?

Yeah, victor_jones99 is right. It's all about matching the plant's needs to the spot, not forcing more light.

Ever notice how the right plant in a tough spot feels like a quiet win? Tbh, it's a good reminder that some things just need the right conditions, not more light. Your gloriosum doing its thing is proof of that.
