Came around on audiobooks after 8 months of fighting them
I swore physical copies were the only way to "really read" until my commute hit 2 hours daily and I caved just to finish a trilogy. Turns out the narrator's voice made a boring 19th century novel actually enjoyable, has anyone else flipped opinions after giving something way too long?

Funny how we do that with everything, not just books. Same thing happened to me with podcasts, swore they were just noise until a long road trip made me actually listen to one about history and now I'm hooked. It's like we build these walls around how things are supposed to work, then life just kicks them down. Makes me wonder how many other things I'm still stubborn about that I'd actually love if I just gave them a real chance.
