Just swapped out a set of old, pitted tube sheets for a fresh set on a 300 PSI boiler in Toledo.

The heat transfer rate jumped by almost 15% in a single week, which is way more than I expected from just that one change. It really shows how much corrosion on those surfaces can quietly kill your efficiency. Has anyone else seen a big jump from a seemingly simple tube sheet replacement?

Man, that reminds me of the time we just cleaned the condenser coils.

Didn't think it'd matter that much, but wow, that's a huge difference.

Remember my buddy complaining his AC was barely working last summer. He finally caved and cleaned the outdoor unit after putting it off for weeks. Called me the next day totally shocked, said it was like a brand new system. The air got colder way faster and his electric bill dropped a noticeable amount the next month. He kept kicking himself for not doing such a simple thing sooner. Really shows how one small maintenance job can have a big effect.
