Update: I finally got my group to try a legacy game after 3 failed attempts

I just started with the prologue chapter of Pandemic Legacy last week instead of explaining the whole campaign, and now they're hooked lol. Anyone have tips for keeping the momentum going between sessions?

Starting with the prologue is such a smart move. I tried explaining the whole thing up front once and my group's eyes glazed over, guess I'm not the best teacher? For keeping it going, maybe just end each session right when something big is about to happen.

Glazed-over groups are my specialty. I once explained a rule so badly my friend started checking his phone for a different game. Ending on a cliffhanger is the only way I keep them coming back.
