Grab a cheap dice bag or a small tin so you don't lose track of which dice are yours after the trick. I keep a little leather pouch in my backpack just for my "performance" dice. Also, if you're doing the trick at a con or game night, make sure you practice the sleight of hand when nobody's watching so it looks smooth. Doing it wrong once and you might get called out before you even finish the bit.

Man, I totally feel you on that. I've definitely had that moment where I pulled out the wrong set of dice and just froze up halfway through a trick at a local game night. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and forget to mark your own gear. That leather pouch idea is solid, I might have to steal it. The practice when nobody's watching part is so true too, like you think you've got the move down until someone's actual eyes are on you and your hands turn to butter. I've definitely been there where I tried to do a quick switch and dropped a die on the floor, felt like a total goof. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who struggles with keeping it all together when it counts.
