Tried using my phone for concert photos and it was a total fail compared to my old point and shoot

I was at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago last Saturday and thought my iPhone would be good enough for the show. But everything came out super dark and blurry, like I was shooting through fog. Then I pulled out my Canon PowerShot from 2012 and the shots were actually sharp even from the balcony. Has anyone else had way better luck with an older camera over a phone in low light places?

Take it easy, it's just some concert photos. A 2012 point and shoot working better than a phone in a dark venue isn't exactly shocking news.

Man, that's rough. People always gotta jump on you for just sharing something cool. You weren't saying it was better than anything, just that it worked, you know? Does your phone even have a night mode or did they just not care?
