Tried to take a photo of a bear in Yosemite and ended up with a blurry brown blob

Last summer I saw a black bear about 50 feet off the trail and panicked. I snapped like 10 pictures and every single one looks like a smudge on the lens. Has anyone else gotten so excited they forgot to hold the camera still?

Doesn't a blurry bear photo actually capture the moment better than a crisp one? Sounds like you were in the moment and not worried about perfect framing.

Nah you're totally right. That blurry shot is way more real than some staged photo. It's got soul.
