Spent 4 hours on a grocery list app just to find out it doesn't sync with my local store's inventory
I sat down Sunday night to plan meals, saved all my items in the app, and then got to the register yesterday and half the stuff wasn't in stock what kind of backward garbage is that has anyone else had an app fail you this hard?

Oh man that's brutal, I had one that told me an item was in stock but it was actually two aisles over and completely gone.

Haha "two aisles over and completely gone" that's legit the same energy as my app saying "in stock" when the shelf was basically bare. I totally feel your pain, it's like these apps are lying to our faces. I had one once that told me a specific brand of salsa was available, drove 20 minutes, and the whole section was just empty shelves like a ghost town. Makes you wonder if they even bother to check or just guess.
