My office microwave etiquette backfired in a weird way
I always cover my food with a paper towel to avoid splatters, but last Tuesday at the office in Chicago, someone threw away my covered Tupperware thinking it was trash. I spent 20 minutes digging through the break room bin before I found it. Has anyone else had a shared kitchen rule just not work out like you planned?

Honestly, that is such a frustrating situation. I gotta ask though - why did you wait 20 minutes instead of grabbing it right when you realized it was missing? Like, did you not see someone toss it or were you just hoping it would magically show back up?

Maybe they didn't realize it was missing until they went back for it.
