Can we talk about that $20 bidet attachment I put off for two years
I always thought bidets were some fancy european thing that would just make a mess. Then my buddy in Austin told me he got one for twenty bucks on amazon and it took ten minutes to install. I tried his out last summer and it was way better than I expected, no mess at all. Finally put one on my own toilet last month and now I feel dumb for waiting so long. Anyone else find something cheap that totally changed how they do a daily thing?

The cold water was a shocker at 6am but woke me up better than coffee.

Did you see your breath fog up when you hit the water too? lol sounds like you found a cheaper (and less caffeinated) way to peel your eyelids open. I'd probably just stand there screaming internally for 5 minutes before chickening out and going back to bed. Respect for actually committing to the full plunge though, I'd need a reward like a hot breakfast just to justify the brain freeze.

Funny thing about that brain freeze reward idea @sageadams - it's actually a legit thing some people use. The cold water triggers this shock response that jolts your nervous system, so your body starts generating heat like crazy after you get out. Makes it easier to warm up with food after, almost like your metabolism is already fired up. I read about this study once where regular cold plunges actually helped people build up brown fat, which is the good kind that burns calories instead of storing them. Beats standing there screaming internally though, I respect that tactic too.
