Tbh, that weekend my Traeger died right before a 12-hour brisket smoke was the worst pitmaster moment of my life.
I had to finish it in my neighbor's oven and it came out tasting like a sad pot roast, so has anyone else had a smoker totally fail mid-cook and how did you save it?

My old pellet grill once quit like a bad employee on payday.

Mine's more like a loyal dog that just needs a good cleaning.

Hold up, that loyal dog analogy is way too kind. Some grills are just born bad. My neighbor's gas grill was a total lemon from day one, always flaring up and burning burgers to a crisp no matter how he cleaned it. It's like comparing a broken lawnmower to a trusty old truck. Sometimes the machine itself is the problem, not the upkeep.
