Vent: Tried making homemade mozzarella and ended up with cheese-flavored cottage cheese instead
Followed a YouTube tutorial from some Italian dude and after 45 minutes of stretching, I just had a bowl of sad curds floating in whey that my dog wouldn't even sniff at, has anyone actually pulled this off without a chemistry degree?

Dude wait your dog wouldn't even sniff it? That's brutal. My beagle will eat literally anything from a week old pizza crust to actual garbage he finds on a walk. If he passed on your cheese that stuff must've been cursed or something. I tried making mozzarella once too and ended up with the same sad clumpy mess. Think those YouTube videos edit out like 3 hours of frustration.
