Took me 2 hours at the DMV to fix a misspelled name. My own name.
I went to the DMV on Tuesday to renew my license and the woman behind the counter said my name was wrong in the system. I spelled it out for her. She typed it wrong again. Then a supervisor came over and said I needed my birth certificate to prove my name was really my name. I drove home, dug through a box in my closet for 40 minutes, drove back, and waited in the same line a second time. Total time from door to door was just over 2 hours for a typo I didn't even make. Has anyone else had to prove their own identity to a computer that just got it wrong?
