Thought the new fiber optic crimper from Apex was just overpriced hype

Used it on a stubborn harness in a King Air last week and it seated a connector perfectly on the first try, which never happens. Anyone have a cheaper tool that actually works this well?

That King Air harness is a real test for any tool. I've had good luck with the Klein version on smaller gauge fiber, but it can struggle with the heavier stuff. The Apex price stings, but a tool that works every time saves so much frustration.

Apex hurts the wallet but saves the sanity. Klein's fine until you hit the thick stuff, then it's just a fight.

Honestly, is the frustration really that bad? We used Kleins for years and got the job done. Maybe it's a few extra seconds of wrestling, but calling it a "fight" feels a bit dramatic. That Apex price is just brutal for what it does.
