Update: I was torquing spark plugs with my impact for like three years
A guy at the shop in Tempe saw me do it and just said 'you know that's gonna crack a plug one day, right?' Felt my stomach drop. Anyone else have a basic habit they had to unlearn?

Plus you'll never get that bolt off again if it seizes up.

A seized bolt just means you get to use the fun tools... heat and a bigger hammer usually do the trick. Threads can be fixed or replaced if it comes to that anyway. Sometimes you just have to accept a permanent assembly.
