Rant: The week the Peachtree Road Race route got me completely turned around
That was the year they changed the start line from Lenox Square to somewhere near the old Macy's building, and my usual shortcut down Lenox Road was a total no-go. I had a shift that morning and ended up stuck in traffic for almost 45 minutes just trying to get from Buckhead to the station, watching runners stream past my bumper. Anyone else have a go-to detour that gets wrecked by a big Atlanta event every year?
