Hit 50 miles on the Atlanta BeltLine last month and now I get why everyone raves about it

I always thought the BeltLine was just a overhyped walking trail but after tracking my runs and realizing I covered 50 miles without repeating much, the variety of art and food stops totally won me over, anyone else surprised by how much there is to see out there?

@victor_jones99 you got duped into the same trap I did, now we're both out here defending the BeltLine like it's our job. Next thing you know we'll be giving guided tours for free.

Expensive strollers" haha, that's literally me. I've spent more time dodging those on the Eastside Trail than I have actually walking. But you're right about the food pop-ups. The pupusa lady remembering your order is the kind of accidental neighborhood magic I never expected from a fancy sidewalk. I'm basically one good taco stand away from printing my own "BeltLine Ambassador" business cards and handing them out to confused tourists. Maybe I'll start charging for those guided tours Gray mentioned, just a dollar per person, to fund my growing pupusa habit.

Man I was the same way. Used to joke that the BeltLine was just a fancy sidewalk for people with expensive strollers. But then my buddy dragged me out to the Monday night food pop-up near Piedmont Park and I grabbed some pupusas from a lady who remembered my order the next week. Then I kept walking south and found that whole section with the train graffitti and the little garden plots tucked between the tracks. Seriously changed my whole view of the city.
