Still stuck on that one guy's comment about my Orion nebula shot

I was at a local meetup in Denver last month, showing my stacked photo of the Orion nebula on my laptop. This one guy walks up, barely looks at it, and says 'nice try but you clipped the core and the color balance is totally off.' He then spent 10 minutes zooming into the black point while I just stood there. Has anyone else had some random stranger tear apart your image at a gathering like that?

Man, that guy sounds like he walked out of a cloud and into your meetup just to rain on your parade... guess he forgot we're all just hobbyists having fun out here.

Ugh yeah that's rough, I've definitely been there. I had a guy at a camera club critique my Milky Way shot once, kept pointing out how my stars were egg shaped in the corners. Like, my dude, I was stacking without a tracker, give me a break. It's so annoying when people treat a casual meetup like a professional review panel.

Feel like half my camera bag is just gear for making excuses, lol. @keithbutler
