Man, I'd be stoked to see 500 hours on my log. That's a whole lot of sky you've looked at. I get being hard on yourself but that's a real win in my book.

Honestly, "a few hundred hours" is a crazy amount of time when you really stop to count it up. I read something once about how it takes about 10,000 hours to get really good at something, so a few hundred is a solid chunk of that journey. Tbh it makes all those little sessions add up to something you can actually see. That kind of number isn't just messing around anymore, it's real time put in.
