Unpopular opinion: I actually got excited about that Roman dodecahedron found in England last month

I was reading the museum report on it while eating lunch at the station when a call came in, and I had to drop my phone in a cup holder and race out the door, and by the time we got back two hours later I forgot which tab I left off on, has anyone else had to pause a fascinating rabbit hole for real life chaos like that?

Actually that dodecahedron thing is kind of overblown if you ask me. The museums always get weirdly hyped about these mysterious objects but really it was probably just a knitting tool or something boring like that.

Yeah, people get way too worked up over those things. It's probably just some old tool, not some ancient mystery worth all the hype.
