Hit 500 dryer vent cleanings this week and it hit me different

Pulled into the driveway after number 500 and just sat there for a minute thinking about all the lint, the dogs, the weird socks, and the one time I found a whole birds nest in a vent in Eugene, has anyone else had a milestone that snuck up on them like that?

Oh man, that bird nest story got me. I hit my 100th oil change right before the shop closed and just stared at the odometer like it was some kind of trophy.

I mean, that moment of just staring at the odometer is real. If you wanna keep that car running smooth, maybe swap the oil every 5,000 miles even if the manual says longer. I learned that the hard way after ignoring it for one interval and ended up with sludge issues down the road. Also, check your air filter at every other oil change, it makes a bigger difference than people give it credit for. Idk, just stuff I wish someone had told me when I was younger.

Every 5,000 is overkill unless you're in severe driving conditions.
