A guy at A-Kon swore Code Geass gets better past episode 8, and I owe him a drink
I was about to drop Code Geass at episode 6 back in 2019 because Lelouch's school stuff was putting me to sleep. This random guy in line for a Ramen at A-Kon in Dallas said just give it until episode 8, so I did. By episode 9 I watched 11 more in one sitting and forgot to eat dinner. How far do you usually give a show before you cut it loose?

Three episodes is my usual cutoff but sometimes a show just needs that one push to click. Had the same thing with Steins;Gate, almost bailed around ep 5 and then it hit me like a truck. Funny how one random person in a line can save a whole show for you.
