After all that waiting, the turbine blade fix held up
Took forever to get the right ceramic coating. Supplier kept delaying. Had to rework the housing twice. Ran the tests this afternoon. Everything within specs. No more vibration issues. So glad that's done.

My own fixes take twice as long and usually involve turning it off and on again. Sounds like you actually know what you're doing, fighting with suppliers and all. That has to feel good to finally see it running right.

Reworking the housing twice sounds like a total nightmare on top of the coating delays. That's not just a fix, that's a whole extra project. Sean Cooper is right about things taking twice as long, but your story makes his "turn it off and on again" sound like a vacation. I cannot believe you pushed through all of that. How do you even stay patient with the supplier after the second rework?
