Why does nobody talk about getting frozen broccoli actually crispy in an air fryer?

I spent 45 minutes last night trying to get a bag of frozen broccoli from Kroger to come out right, messing with temps and shaking the basket. Turns out you have to pat it bone dry with paper towels first, who knew? What other frozen veg tricks am I missing?

Oh wow, I always just dumped it in frozen like @the_elliot said. That paper towel trick is a total game changer for getting it actually crispy. Guess I've been doing it wrong this whole time.

Wait, you can't just toss it in frozen, @lucasw82. That's how you get soggy fries (trust me, I've been there). The paper towel step is the real key to getting them right.
