Spent 45 minutes training an AI to sort my email and it still missed half the spam

I set up a custom filter model in my email client last week, thinking it would finally kill the junk. Fed it about 200 examples of what I wanted blocked and what I wanted kept. After all that work, it caught maybe 3 out of 8 obvious spam messages on the first test run. Has anyone else found that these training systems just don't stick the landing right away?

Tried teaching mine to recognize cat photos and it flagged my tax documents instead.

@nora_walker57 did your cat photos accidentally look like tax fraud or something?
