That muddy trail near Broken Bow flipped my whole recovery setup
Got my rig stuck axle deep in a clay pit off of Cedar Creek Road, and my winch anchor point just pulled clean out of the bumper mount... the bracket had rusted from the inside and I never checked it. Spent 4 hours digging with a shovel and a jack before a logger with a skidder pulled me out. Anyone else had factory recovery points fail on them after a few winters?

Three winters and my factory hooks are still solid, but I welded gussets on the brackets the week I bought the truck because every mount on these trucks is a rust trap if you don't drill weep holes. Maybe check the bolts too, most people snap those before the metal ever gives out.
