inCorner beads on every outside corner: necessary protection or over-engineering? I've changed my mind after a decade in the trade.
My DIY bathroom project proved @carr.elliot right after I dented a corner with a towel, lmao.

inShipyard visit inspired my approach to marine sheet metal work
At the Norfolk shipyard, they use pulsed MIG welding with argon mix to prevent porosity in humid air. @parker_rodriguez62 has a point about maintenance, but those 'fancy' techniques like proper gas shielding and post-weld treatments actually EXTEND joint life dramatically. I've seen untreated galvanized steel fail in two years, while correctly welded marine-grade aluminum lasts decades. Skipping specialized methods for thin metal is a false economy when saltwater gets involved.
