My Echo kept triggering from the filter noise, which was messing with voice recognition. I relocated it and dialed down the mic sensitivity, problem solved. Has anyone else battled random ambient sounds in their setup?

I've seen untreated galvanized steel fail in two years, while correctly welded marine-grade aluminum lasts decades. Skipping specialized methods for thin metal is a false economy when saltwater gets involved.
