My perspective on mirror use in tiny homes did a complete 180 after a simple bathroom update.

For years, I avoided mirrors in small spaces, thinking they would feel cheap or gimmicky. After reading about light reflection principles, I installed a large mirror directly opposite the window. It doubled the natural light and made the room feel twice as large. The specific placement above the sink also improved functionality for my daily routines.

Guess my vanity was the only thing getting reflected before.

When you say vanity was the only thing reflected, it highlights how we often curate what we see in the mirror. Those reflections tend to show our preferred narratives, not objective reality. So maybe the glass was just agreeing with your self-assessment all along.

Jadew14's idea that mirrors show our chosen views, not real life, really sticks with me. @wren_smith40's vanity point shows how we skip the full story for just a part. Could where we put mirrors change how we see ourselves every day?
