My foreman's constant hurry-up calls finally backfired on a luxury lobby job.

We were under pressure to finish the terrazzo floor in a high-end building, so I skipped some fine grinding steps. When the client walked in, they pointed out the uneven sheen, and we had to redo it, costing us more time. Do other crews face similar pressures from management that end up compromising quality?

Just refuse to cut corners, even when they push.

But what about when refusing hurts the team? Sometimes flexibility is key.

But claire_martin1 is right because refusing now avoids bigger team harm later.
