My vintage state postcard collection is finally complete after a decade

I started collecting these when I was a kid, on trips with my parents. The Alaska card was the last piece, and I snagged it from an online auction. Each card has a little note on the back from when I got it. Seeing them all together brings back SO many good memories from the road.

Pick one weird roadside thing from each trip, like a giant ball of twine or a dinosaur made of old tires. Those dumb details end up being the story you tell later, way more than just saying "we went to the beach." The right song playing at the right time can lock a whole drive in your head forever.
