From my seat: I learned on machines with levers and cables. Now everything is joysticks and screens. Does the old way still matter?

Honestly, I rolled my eyes at the old stuff until a digital glitch made me appreciate those basics.

Actually, the old way still matters a lot. Learning on levers and cables shows you how the machine really works. That know-how doesn't go away with new tech.
