A client in Milwaukee asked me to match a stain to their dog's fur
Last month, a lady brought in a photo of her golden retriever and a chair leg. She wanted the stain to be an exact match. I spent two hours mixing tiny batches, holding them up to the picture in different lights. My coworker walked by and just said, 'You're doing what now?' Has anyone else gotten a request that made you stop and laugh?

Yeah, two hours is a lot. I mean, that's some serious dedication to getting a color right. I've been there trying to match something small and it just eats up your whole afternoon. Makes you really feel for anyone in a service job dealing with super picky stuff. Honestly, that kind of patience is kind of amazing.
