Vent: A shipper in Dallas told me my load securement was 'good enough for government work' and it really got under my skin.

I started using extra straps and a full tarp on every flatbed run after that, even for short hauls. Anyone else had a comment that made you totally redo a basic part of your routine?

My buddy had a dock guy tell him his pre-trip was "cute" once. Totally changed how he checks his fifth wheel now, reminds me of what sethhernandez said about the "good luck" guy. Some comments just stick with you.

Remember the guy who said "good luck"?

Ever think maybe the Dallas guy was just being honest and you're overdoing it now? @sethhernandez, that "good luck" guy probably saved someone from a fine, not hurt their feelings. Sometimes "good enough" is literally the standard, and extra straps just eat into your time and money for no real gain.
