Overheard a client call their freelancer 'just a temp' at a cafe
It was a real gut punch, because it framed the whole relationship as disposable. Made me think we should push for contracts that call us 'partners' or 'vendors' to set a better tone. Do you think changing the language in proposals actually changes how clients treat you?

My contracts say "vendor" and it helps, like alex307 said.
