Found my 100th forgotten bookmark today and it's a real head-scratcher!
It was a 1978 grocery receipt for a single can of beans and a pack of gum, tucked inside a book about ancient Rome. I'm trying to figure out the connection, but I'm coming up empty. Has anyone else found a receipt that made absolutely no sense with the book it was in?

Weird. What was the book's title exactly? Maybe the receipt was a placeholder for a chapter about Roman food or trade. Beans were a staple, right?
