That time a $12 order of loaded fries saved my whole afternoon
I was at the weekly market downtown last month, super hungry and kinda hangry, waiting in line for 20 minutes at this taco truck. Right as I get to the front, the guy says they're out of tortillas. My stomach literally growled. I saw another truck, 'Spudnik', across the way and ran over. Spent $12 on their 'cosmonaut fries' which are just fries with cheese, bacon, and green onion. Ate them on a curb and went from ready to fight someone to totally chill in like 5 minutes. It was the best mood swing I've ever bought. Anyone else have a food truck snack that totally turned a bad day around?

Honestly, I get that completely. I used to have the same kind of mood link with my coffee intake. What finally worked for me was just setting a hard cut-off time in the afternoon. No caffeine after 2 PM, no matter what. It took a few rough days to adjust, but now my evenings are way more steady. Tbh, it's boring but it fixed the problem.

Remember my friend who swore his whole mood depended on getting a specific brand of yogurt every morning. He'd get so grumpy if the store was out. Turns out he was just super hungry by 10am. He started eating a bigger breakfast, just eggs and toast, and the whole yogurt crisis stopped. Ngl, it was funny to watch him figure it out. Sometimes the fix is way simpler than the schedule makes it seem.
